Hi, I'm Mahmoud Sallam
FrontendEngineer
I'm a T-shaped software engineer focused on frontend, design systems, and microfrontends. I build accessible, performant web apps — from architecture and performance to UI polish — and I care about shipping experiences that work for everyone.
I'm also a UX mentor: I help bridge the gap between technology and product, aligning engineering reality with design intent and what users need.
More than code.
I started as an artist and UX designer, then studied computer engineering and discovered frontend was where everything clicked: design, emotion, and code in one craft.
If you do not find me in front of my laptop, you will probably find me watching documentaries about whales, oceans, space, and wildlife, or dueling in Yu-Gi-Oh! (yes, I collect cards and play Master Duel too).
And yes, I am a tea person. Most of my best code starts with steam rising from a fresh mint tea beside my keyboard.

An artist at heart.
A curated collection of digital paintings that capture moments of curiosity, emotion, and imagination.
